I'm Tre Smith, Founder & CEO of Verse. I'm a software architect with over 20 years of experience building enterprise systems, automation platforms, and AI tooling. Before Verse, I served as Chief Automation Architect and AI Specialist, designing the kind of infrastructure that Fortune 500 companies depend on. That engineering rigor is baked into every growth system we build and operate.
Before tech, I played football at Auburn University (2002-2006), then went pro, playing in the CFL for the BC Lions and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, with NFL training camps for the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons. When it came time to choose between chasing the league and building a career with a longer shelf life, I chose my master's degree at Auburn University.
I founded Verse to give local businesses access to the same growth infrastructure that large companies take for granted, without the enterprise price tag or the need to hire a marketing department. Verse is led by me and backed by a team of developers, designers, and growth strategists.
